Initial Acupuncture Treatment

$135

Your journey with Wave Acupuncture starts here.

We’ll begin with a thorough intake where we talk through what’s bringing you in, your health history, and the bigger picture of what’s been going on in your system. From there, we’ll map out a treatment approach that feels tailored to you - not generic, and not rushed.

Next, I’ll take your pulse and look at your tongue - two classic diagnostic tools in Chinese Medicine that give a lot of insight into how your system is functioning underneath the surface. This helps guide point selection, so your treatment is actually responding to what your body is showing, not just what you’re telling me.

Then the needles go in, and the shift begins. This is where you stop having to manage anything - your body takes over, and the work happens from the inside out.

This treatment lasts
approximately 80 minutes.

Return Acupuncture Treatment

$100

Returning sessions start with a quick catch-up so I can see what your system’s been up to since we last hung out - what’s shifted, what’s still hanging around, and what’s currently acting up. Acupuncture isn’t one-and-done; it builds over time, so we’re always adjusting as we go.

From there, I’ll warm things up with an adjunct technique like gua sha or cupping (when it fits!), just to get things moving a bit before needles. Kind of like convincing your system to unclench, before we ask it to do deeper work.

Then it’s into your acupuncture treatment - your needle nap! This is where you get to fully zone out while your body does its behind-the-scenes recalibration. You’ll leave feeling a little more spacious, and hopefully not quite as stuck in whatever loop you walked in with.

This treatment lasts
approximately 50 minutes.

Cosmetic Rejuvenation Acupuncture

$235

Cosmetic Acupuncture is a natural alternative to fillers and Botox, and a pretty solid way to work with your face instead of trying to freeze, fill, or erase it.

Treatments combine body and facial points, because your face doesn’t exist in a vacuum - it reflects your whole system. We work to get circulation and energy moving through the head, neck, and face so things can look (and feel) more alive again.

Locally, facial acupuncture helps bring blood flow into the skin, supports collagen production, soften fine lines, brightens tone, and gives things a naturally more plump, hydrated, “I slept and drank water” kind of vibe.

The goal isn’t to change your face, it’s to get it functioning better so it shows up a bit more rested, a little more lit from within, and still very much you.

This treatment lasts
approximately 80 minutes.

Cupping

Cupping uses gentle suction to help get things moving when your body feels tight, stuck, or just a little over it.

Small cups are placed on the skin to lift the tissue, draw circulation into the area, and help release stagnation in the channels. It’s especially helpful for muscle tension, stress, and that “I’ve been carrying this in my body for weeks” feeling. Compared to gua sha, it tends to work in a more broad, expansive way; great for larger areas that need some release and space.

The temporary marks or bruising you might see afterward are a normal response — they reflect increased circulation and an immune response that supports repair and tissue regulation.

Gua Sha

Gua sha involves a small, smooth tool used to lightly scrape the skin to help relieve tightness; for when your tension-filled areas are a bit more localized or specific, compared to cupping’s more wide-ranging approach.

In treatment, it’s basically a way to wake up circulation, release stuck muscle patterns, and it helps your body stop holding onto whatever it has been gripping. From a Chinese Medicine perspective, it helps move energy and blood through the channels more smoothly.

You’ll often see some redness or flushing afterward (totally normal), which means things are moving. Most people report that their body finally got the chance to unclench.

Moxibustion

Moxibustion (or “moxa”) uses the gentle heat of a dried herb called mugwort to warm and support the system.

In treatment, moxa is held just above the skin, used over specific acupuncture point and larger general areas of the body, to bring in heat, increase circulation, and help shift patterns of cold, stagnation, or low energy. Think of it as giving the system a little internal “warm-up” — especially helpful for things like fatigue, sluggish digestion, stiffness, or that general feeling of being a bit underpowered.

The sensation is slow, steady warmth (not burning), and most people find it deeply grounding; like your body finally getting enough fuel to do what it needs to do.
